I understand the concept of mixtapes a whole lot more cuz after years of research and listening to hip hop, you come to terms with words and phrases used for/in music.
But I just heard a term that is new (honestly) to me concerning releases... "pre tape"!
Like WTF???? What happened to Ep's?? anyway... Black Moss has released digitally "The benchmark vol.2 pre tape"
