PROF - Propose a toast by Trompie

Produced by Trompie aka The CHEF
Siamese Entertainment

As per usual, I had to close off the year and work with another great legend and General in Motswako, Mr Prof of the legendary Bafixile crew. We recently met at the Maftown Heights gig past month and a half and we started talking biz. As they would say, the rest is history. A week later, he rocked unexpectedly at the kitchen and we created magic... — WHAT MORE CAN I SAY???

Quietude - CapCity cruising by Trompie

Produced by Trompie aka The CHEF
Siamese Entertainment

"Quietude is a two member Hip Hop collective with poetic, jazzy, rhythm and blues roots. Their fresh interpretation of Hip Hop and R’nb is best described as a cocktail of their personalities brewed into a vibrant musical concoction that caters for the open minded, non-conformist lover of music as a whole. There are no textbooks or classroom instructions that could help one balance the chemistry of their sound, however they insist that one can only discover them melodically as a diverse Hip Hop and R’nb group with a simple solution. Quietude at first is unassuming, but it takes mere moments for you to recognize their unique sound that expands the stereotypically boxed nature of Hip Hop and fluently bridges the gap between R’nB, Pop and that afro-centric jazzy feel which is contrary to the traditional boom-bap sound. They aspire to be an iconic brand in the future, penetrating not only the music scene but the entire art as a culture."

Due to the success of the Ep MyBoba started working on His 2010 album, magnificently titled "ALTER EGO" scheduled for releaes in July 2010 and the launch for the album is scheduled for the end of August 2010. So, the album just dropped, and to add on – surprisingly after me and his so-called “beef” (mxm – rumours)… I produced one of his joints called “Superstar” featuring L-Skillz and Les-B. A Hip-Pop track for that matter (*yes… I am that versatile – mxm).

To lay your hands on that album go to any Musica, TopCD or even contact him on facebook as Kgaugelo myboba Bogopa ….

Booooooooom!!!

BACK FROM THE COMA *evil laugh to haters*

Posted by Trompie

Yes.... you heard me right... Im back... but for only a little while...

seems people, places and most importantly TIME has changed since I left...or in some, since I became quiet... Naah man...dont get me started, it wasn't because I never made the TOP 5.... I could have beaten them if I had a large body of work out there....*grin*

Well, since things slowly changed, I rapidly had to format some styles of my production and formulate what I am now... I have 2 singles from two different artist to sample to you....just holla and let me know what yo feeling is....

MaliQ - Welcome II South Africa

Gritty joint that will remind you of a New York soun (more in particular - Big L joints) - I wont say much, but have a listen....

Skillo ft. NIA - Chomi

I always yep about dude...why ask? well, cuz not just only that he's produced by yo's truly the sample king...*grin*... but also that he got a very distictive way of merging Motswako rap with serious humor...well... again, I aint gon' say no more than have a listen for yo'self...

Ooooh.... you bootleggers... You gotta go to my Reverbnation page to get them joints....*lol*
